Saladin Bay sadly died in April 2005 of a kidney tumour. He will be greatly missed, however many of his foals are due this year and one of our mares has already foaled to him this month - giving us his first 2005 colt foal of the year.
Saladin Bay (Pet name Toby) is our pure bred Thoroughbred Stallion. He was 14 years old this year (2005) and continues to produce young stock of admirable quality. His head shape is common in his foals, along with good bone and a presence of quality. He boasts a most genuine loving character, that has never failed to be passed on to his young stock. Saladin Bay
BONE : 9" HEIGHT: 16.3 hh COLOUR: JET BLACK Toby's foals have proved progressively successful in the show ring. We have continued to show both hunter and hack mares in-hand with Saladin Bay foals at foot, and have not yet fallen short of the ribbons! Under saddle, Toby's brothers and sisters have competed in all spheres. They have proved themselves to be very capable of jumping, competing in both X-Country and Show Jumping. We have no doubt that Toby's foals themselves will prove equally capable of doing the same, and the eldest of Toby's stock are currently competing in all spheres including being shown in-hand and under saddle across the North East of Scotland, dressage, cross-country, one day eventing, show-jumping, and can even be seen in Pony Club Games!!
