This year Arradoul Sweet Melody went one step better than her supreme horse win at Nairn show in 2003 by beating the best from the Sheep and Cattle sections to take home the plaudits for the Champion of Champions and best animal in show. Melody also won reserve championships this year at Turriff Show (where her full sister Arradoul Sabrina was champion Clydesdale under saddle), the Black Isle show and also at Keith Country Show. Her foal, Arradoul Precedent, sired by Ayton Royal Ideal, was champion foal and male champion at the Black Isle show, champion foal at Turriff and champion foal at Keith. ----- Arradoul Sweet Melody came first in her strong class of brood mares at the end of the season at the Aberdeen Clydesdale show. Arradoul Precedent came second in the colt foal class. Niki and Sabrina won second place in the well supported ridden class. -----
